Soccer

pics and videos from Lindas last soccer game. She is having fun out there, but not really doing much, lol. She could have had a goal in the one game, but just didn't kick it, lol. There is a video of he plowing some kid over as well. My favorite is the video of her playing w/the goal. I guess she got bored, lol.

Fire safety play

the fire safety training center was holding a fire safety/water safety presentation for the kids. Here are some pics and videos from that. The kids seemed to enjoy it.

Leaf Craft and Magic Show

Posted by Picasa

The pics are of Linda doing her leaf craft that Kristen got for playgroup. Linda had such a nice time playing and doing the craft.

The video just really cracks me up. She did this the first time and I laughed so hard, and wanted to get it on video. So the video is her second attempt at doing magic. In the past I have taken a piece of paper and hid it in my between my legs to make it disappear. Well, I thought I was being all sneaky and she didn't really know where the paper was going. Wrong. It's obvious she knew exactly where I was putting the paper. This video is hysterical!

We LOVE the Gardens!

Posted by Picasa

It's always a good day when we go to the gardens! The weather was warm and humid, perfect for the fountains. There probably aren't too many fountain days left in the year, so I wanted to take advantage of it.

The videos are pretty cute. The first video I was trying to tickle the kids, and film at the same time. I just wanted to get their screams in b/c they were being so cute screaming away. The little red head cutie is Jack. He is a new addition (starting in Sept) to our clan. I watch him on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On the days he isn't here, Linda is always asking for him to come. She calls him Jack Attack, and they get along great. We were playing tickle on the second video as well. Please watch the slide in the background of the video b/c it is hilarious when Jack comes flying down the slide and lands on his butt. He popped right back up. So make sure you are watching for that. Enjoy!

Fire Station

What kid doesn't love going to a fire station? I know Linda does! We took a tour of a fire station today. It is so important for kids to get this type of exposure to firefighters. If there ever is a fire in our home, I don't want Linda to be scared of firefighters when they are all suited up. We have another fire tour next week. It is a little bit of a different program next week, but we are looking forward to that too. so stay tuned and I'll get the pics up of that next week.

Cute kid!

Posted by Picasa
The first pic is a cute one. What do you think is all over her face? ice cream? yogurt? milk? NOPE...sour cream! the child LOVES sour cream, lol
The next pic was a surprise to me as I went outside and saw Linda almost over the fence. I asked her what she was doing up there and she said that she saw a daddy long leg up there and was trying to get it...she'll do anything for a bug!
She did so well w/her reading last night. She hadn't read very much book wise the last few weeks. She continues to read words that we see. Last night she decided to make up for that and read 5 reader books before bed. It was awesome. Right now we are working on the rule of two vowels together and how when you see two vowels together the second vowel is silent, and the first vowel gives it's long sound. That is a tricky rule for her to learn, and it doesn't apply all the time, which makes it difficult to teach! But she has learned so much already. She is pretty amazing!

Daddy Date at the Farm

Posted by Picasa

Daddy and Linda had a morning out at the farm. Notice how on the last video the chicken hurts Linda. This is one of the things I love about Linda. Whether it's bugs or animals, she doesn't care if she gets stung, bit, or whatever, she will keep going. I love it!!!!!!!! Enjoy.

**********MY CAMERA IS BROKEN, SO I'M NOT SURE HOW MANY POSTS WILL BE COMING. I WILL ATTEMPT TO USE MY PHONE, AS TOM DID FOR THESE PICS/VIDEOS.****************

Linda's first soccer game

This morning was Linda's first soccer game. She did so good! At the beginning of the practices, she wouldn't even go out on the field w/o holding my hand. And now she is out there all by herself. I'm just so proud of her. She is just the cutest thing out there. After the game we took her to Friendly's for some ice cream. She was pretty excited about that too! I'm so proud of her for going out of her comfort zone and really getting in there. She is an amazing little girl. Our lives are nothing but blessed b/c of her!

Beach Day

The weather was finally nice today, so we decided to head down to the beach. The girls were excited b/c we were taking Copper w/us. Linda was making some silly faces for the camera. These two faces remind me of the "carrot" face she used to make a couple years ago. funny enough, she was eating carrots just before I took the pics, lol. There is a parade tomorrow morning at the oceanfront and some of the people were practicing for it. That is what the video is about. There was another all male small bugle marching band practicing as well, but I didn't take any video of that. Linda liked the bag pipes.

Barbie Jeep

Cute video of Linda, Ryleigh, and Kaitlyn w/the Barbie Jeep. Ryleigh is quite the good little driver!

Vultures

While I was yard saling, daddy and Linda headed to the local aquarium for a program on vultures. They had a nice time. Linda made vulture vomit and a vulture hand puppet. Before the vulture came out, they explored a little bit outside. Tom said they found a bunch of daddy long legs altogether. He had never seen so many in one spot, so he took a pic. I am so grateful Linda has such a wonderful daddy that always volunteers to spend time w/her!
