A Rainy Day

We were busy today. I was watching 6 little girls today. They were all perfect angels. I knew it was going to rain today. I told everyone's mom to bring change of clothes and rain gear b/c we were going outside! I knew there was no way I could handle being stuck inside all morning, so we played outside. They were so cute once it really started raining. They all ended up soaked, and loving every minute of it.

Japanese Steakhouse

When Grandma and Grandpa were here we all went to the Japanese steakhouse for dinner. Linda enjoyed the food, but did not like the fire. The last two videos were her reactions to some fire. She was pretty cute though!

Soccer take two

I took this on wed. this is her second soccer practice. she did a lot better this time. I held her hand while she was playing 3 on 3. so hopefully before the games start she will be weaned from that. she kept saying she didn't want to play, but when we ran around near the ball the would jump in there and kick it. she even scored a goal! She is still the cutest little soccer player in the world!

Linda loves her sesame street!

a video from our Busch Gardens trip last week. too cute!

Busch Gardens

It was a hot one at Busch Gardens today. But we are so blessed to be able to do so many fun things w/Linda! Linda had both her grandpas there w/her today for part of the day. She was on the go all day, and wasn't ready to leave at 6pm when it was time to go! she loves this place!

Soccer

Linda had her first soccer practice last night, and she could not be cuter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The practice went pretty well until she was playing in her 3 on 3 game. She was very nervous about kicking the ball w/the other kids running and trying to get it. It completely took me off guard to think she would be shy about it. But we will keep going, and moving forward and hopefully she will come around. She was soooooooooooooo cute though!

Always learning!

Grandma is in town, and we headed to story time on the bus. We hadn't been there in a few months being so busy w/summer. it was nice to get back. Linda did a cute giraffe craft to go along w/the jungle stories they were telling. She missed her bus instructors!

Aquarium

I mentioned to another friend of mine the other day that we went to the aquarium and had a full day of learning w/o Linda even knowing it! We went on the nature trail before the puppet show. We learned about Native Americans, counted steps climbing a tower, explored an old log for roly poly bugs, saw the real development of tadpoles, read some words on some signs, did a leaf rubbing, learned about beavers during the puppet show, and so much more! This is how Linda learns. She had a full day hitting various subjects and didn't even know she was learning! I love teaching her!

proof of swimming, lol

Here is a video of Linda swimming in our pool. This is the deep end. She is so funny when she swims. Sometimes she is apprehensive about doing it, so we just let her swim on her own terms. She decided yesterday that she was going to swim. She is just so darn cute!

Farm Camp!!!!!!!!!!

Linda went to farm camp last week. It was a big kid camp, so I didn't go in w/her, which also means I didn't have any pics of her there. I did take a couple of pics of her all ready w/her supergirl backpack. From what she said, she had a blast. She was very excited to go each day. She said she liked the bees and chickens the best. She had a large class and made lots of friends. She is already talking about going back next year.

my little pizza chef

We had a make your own pizza playdate today at Miss Sarah's house. There were a lot of moms and kids that showed up. Linda was very excited just to be eating pizza, let alone making her own. Miss Sarah bought the kids little chef hats, and they were so cute. Linda decided (as you'll see in the video) that she ultimately didn't want any toppings other than cheese. Yes, she did take a piece of green pepper, bite it, and return it to the bowl, lol. She loves mushrooms, olives, and green peppers, so I'm surprised she didn't want to put those things on there. All the kids were just so cute!
