fun at the beach

we had some great weather earlier this week and we took advantage of it by going to the beach!

Aquarium

we headed to the aquarium while we had Linda's cousins in town. It was a great time! the rennovations are done are really nice....

Pilgrim Playdate

We have been so blessed w/great weather this fall (apart from our major storm). Here it is almost the end of November and Linda is in short sleeves and shorts! We went to the park the other day and played, read a story, and made pilgrim hats. The kids had a great time. I took a picture of Linda being a monkey, lol. The bar was too high for her to jump up and grab, so she had to climb up and get it. We are new in this playgroup, and one of the moms commented that she had never seen a child be able to climb up and grab that bar and climb over. Linda is blessed w/excellent motor skills as well as verbal skills. She is big and strong and agile, and an all around cool kid!

Zoo

The girls went w/one of their friends to the zoo this week. The weather was stunning that day. They had such a great time. The zoo had some baby lion cubs (the last video) and a baby giraffe. I didn't take a pic of the baby giraffe. I couldn't get a good pic of her. In the video I wanted to do a little Big Cat Diary narrative, but I didn't, lol

Soccer Party

Linda's soccer season is now over. We had our party the other day. Linda had a great time eating pizza and the largest cupcake I have ever seen in my life. She got her trophy that night too. We also put her soccer pic up that the photographer took. I took a picture of the picture, so that is why it didn't turn out very well, but you get the idea... we weren't able to scan it into the computer. She seemed to enjoy the season, and progressed quite well. In the beginning she didn't want to be on the field w/o holding my hand. In the end she was playing almost the whole game of each game b/c the other players didn't want to play. She really came along. She's just an all around cool kid!

Star Gazing

The other night we had our family home evening here. We did a short lesson on the Creation. When we were done, we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous moon outside. So I thought it was fitting to get out the telescope and look at one of God's neatest creations!
