Always learning!
Aquarium
I mentioned to another friend of mine the other day that we went to the aquarium and had a full day of learning w/o Linda even knowing it! We went on the nature trail before the puppet show. We learned about Native Americans, counted steps climbing a tower, explored an old log for roly poly bugs, saw the real development of tadpoles, read some words on some signs, did a leaf rubbing, learned about beavers during the puppet show, and so much more! This is how Linda learns. She had a full day hitting various subjects and didn't even know she was learning! I love teaching her!

proof of swimming, lol
Here is a video of Linda swimming in our pool. This is the deep end. She is so funny when she swims. Sometimes she is apprehensive about doing it, so we just let her swim on her own terms. She decided yesterday that she was going to swim. She is just so darn cute!
Farm Camp!!!!!!!!!!
Linda went to farm camp last week. It was a big kid camp, so I didn't go in w/her, which also means I didn't have any pics of her there. I did take a couple of pics of her all ready w/her supergirl backpack. From what she said, she had a blast. She was very excited to go each day. She said she liked the bees and chickens the best. She had a large class and made lots of friends. She is already talking about going back next year.

my little pizza chef

We had a make your own pizza playdate today at Miss Sarah's house. There were a lot of moms and kids that showed up. Linda was very excited just to be eating pizza, let alone making her own. Miss Sarah bought the kids little chef hats, and they were so cute. Linda decided (as you'll see in the video) that she ultimately didn't want any toppings other than cheese. Yes, she did take a piece of green pepper, bite it, and return it to the bowl, lol. She loves mushrooms, olives, and green peppers, so I'm surprised she didn't want to put those things on there. All the kids were just so cute!

a new book, French and SWIMMING!!!!!!!!!!!!
I found a book at Barnes and Noble that was on sale and had to get it for Linda. You email a pic of your child and they make a book w/her pic in it, and her name, so she is part of the story. The book arrived today and Linda was so excited. It was cute to see her as a character in a Sesame Street book.
We are hosting a French student for the next couple of weeks. His name is Louis and he is very nice. We picked him up last night. Linda has taken to him already. She has enjoyed practicing her French w/him. He brought her a French children's book as a present for her, and some butterflies for her window. It was very sweet. We look forward to getting to know Louis better.
